To the glory of God, the Redeemed Christian Church of God started in Australia with the first parish, *RCCG Jesus House Melbourne,* planted in Melbourne’s 2nd City, Dandenong on the 3rd of August 1999. The church was started with humble beginnings with a group of 5 brethren as a house fellowship meeting at the registered address 37, Herbert Street in Dandenong Victoria. By the grace of God, the church grew, and Sunday services began at Caulfield Racecourse from where we moved to Camberwell in 2000. It was at Camberwell Theatrette that we first hosted the General Overseer on his first trip to Australia in March 2001 when he came to dedicate the church. By this time we already had 2 additional parishes.
Today, the parish is now the Regional HQ of RCCG South Pacific Region, coordinating all our parishes currently in 12 countries outside of Australia in Oceania. JHM has been involved in the establishment & growth of branches in Australia, PNG, Fiji Islands, Solomon Islands, Somoa, Tonga, New Zealand and many more. We are a vibrant community of believers who are passionate about worship! We believe that the expression of worship through music can be fun, exciting and sacred all at the same time.
